Yoga! Yoga! Yogi!

Well I just got back from day 2 of yoga with my new found friend Michael. I have really come to find a new found respect for it and the fact that it makes muscles hurt that you didn't even know existed. As I was driving Michael home it dawned on me how happier I am starting to feel. It's almost like a whole new confidence I have gained wether it be from the yoga or the veggies and fruit.
The veganism is still going strong, there haven't been any weakness moments with meat yet but milk products have been a tad hard. With that in mind I ponder just being a vegetarian. The fact of still being able to have cheese pizza and cream in my coffee makes me excited. haha. The reason I don't back down is because of the unhealthiness that comes along with adding cheese, cream, milk to anything.
I also haven't really been drinking that much lately too. I had a couple beers on Saturday but that was it for all of last week. I think not excessively drinking may make it easier than cutting out social drinks or booze altogether. Anyways gonna watch a movie then off to bed.
Cheers!!!!!

Can you say lettuce?

Well it's day 6 and I am still going strong. I had a veggie burger at work the other day and it was delicious! I think it might be my new favorite item at overtime. I have been working allot this week with it being the bars 1st year anniversary party then St Patricks day. So unfortunately I haven't made it to yoga yet. I also need to inform everyone that soy caramel macchiatos are very delicious! Later!!

Day 1

Well today/yesterday I decided to start a whole new lifestyle regime. I am committing myself to a eating raw diet which in other words is a vegan diet. I will also be make myself workout 5 days a week and include 2 yoga routines in there as well.
Yesterday I thought did well by having a vegetarian burrito from mucho burrito. Unfortunately the wrap it was in is not considered a raw food so I need to really watch what I ingest to make this diet
stay true. I did get my workout in with a 30 min run at the gym.
I purchased a book called the complete idiots guide to eating raw, even though I have only read 50% of it I find it very informative. Anyone interested in starting a vegan diet I recommend that you read this. I found it very useful in the fact that it bunks allot of myths about vegan diets.
I have a date today and were going for coffee....I think its gonna be hard to not go for a non fat vanilla latte. I guess i will have to try it with soy, wish me luck!
